Some of you may be wondering: She likes to write, how come her blog posts start here?
Its a very phoenix-like story, actually. I almost lost this domain name because I wasn’t paying attention. I had been sick for a few months and when I logged back in the entire website was gone! After a bit of a mad scramble which involved tracking down who the domain registrar was and paying an extortive fee we got it back.
When my blog came back online the theme was missing and so was my access. I tried every password I ever used and a few more. I tried doing a password reset but it never showed up in any inbox I have. Nothing worked. My posts were there, but nothing looked how I wanted it to and I could not add new ones.
I could have copy pasted. I actually think I had recently backed everything up onto my hard drive. But I looked at the posts, reminisced, thought about it for a while and then with a click of a button deleted the entire directory.
I know I have them all somewhere and I may re-post some of my favorites in time but for now its nice to wipe the slate clean and have a fresh start!
